Anthony William, the medical medium, taking things for granted.
When you're not sick and you've never had chronic illness,
you haven't had a struggle yet in your life.
Maybe you're young. It hasn't happened.
It's easy to take things for granted.
Really easy not to appreciate things.
It's also easy to overlook things as well.
when you're sick and you've been through a lot
and you got your symptoms
and you've seen a whole bunch of different health professionals
and you're looking for answers
and you're struggling
and even if you get what seems to be answers,
you're just not getting the results
or you get some and then they go away
and you just feel totally lost
and it's back to the drawing board.
it's rare you take things for granted
it takes you to a different level
when you're chronically sick
it becomes a richness
a richness of life
a richness of understanding
you see things differently
it's like you see a different world
than other people are seeing
if you take a walk when you're chronically sick and you're on a trail what you see
it's much different than what someone else sees who's never struggled or been sick before
they can be ahead of you or behind you on the trail and what they're seeing
it's entirely different every plant every tree you see every squirrel every bird
everything from every blade of grass to every mushroom
everything on the trail to every stone every twig means something different
when you're chronically ill or struggled or recovered or been sick before all of it is different
than someone who's walking behind you a little ways back
or walking in front of you.
They're on the trail.
They just want to go on a nature walk.
They want to get some air.
They want to take a hike.
They haven't struggled like you.
They haven't been chronically ill yet in their life.
They haven't been struggling with symptoms,
unexplained mystery illness.
they see things differently when they look at a mushroom, a rock, a twig, a bird, a tree,
a blade of grass, a hill, the sky.
It's not as rich.
The depth isn't there.
The perception is different.
Someone who's been sick, there's a richness to what they see.
they don't take things for granted
not even a stone or a bird
or a twig or a mushroom
they have a deep appreciation
for things
much more
and there's a lot of reasons to why that happens
because when you're struggling and you're sick
and you've been on mattress island
and you've been through a lot
or you're taking care of someone
who's gone through that
you see life differently
and when you see life differently
everything on that trail looks different
anyway I hope you guys are
hanging in there
and working hard on your healing process
take one step at a time
and
many blessings
lots of love
talk soon
